AFTER OTHELLO, is an original dark-comedy featuring the often-forgotten role of THE CLOWN from Shakespeare’s play, The Tragedy of Othello, The Moor of Venice.
AFTER OTHELLO follows the role of the currently unemployed, hungover, and somewhat bitter CLOWN (who has seen far better days), as takes us on a comical, absurd, and often searing search to uncover the "truth" behind the controversial Shakespearean tragedy of "Othello", from THE CLOWN'S point of view: a surprising journey that questions our notions of honesty, jealousy, complicity, evil, and accountability.
